Data Backup & Snapshots Both

Your task and household data is fully portable. TapTidy provides automated snapshots, encrypted cloud backup targets, and manual export capabilities.

Server Snapshots & Backups

In Settings → Data & backup → Backups (on both Web and Android), you can:

• Create Snapshots: Trigger an on-demand snapshot archive containing your active and completed tasks, projects, tags, and settings.
• Restore from Snapshot: Restore your workspace to a previous snapshot state. To prevent accidental overwrites, restoring requires typing a safety confirmation phrase.

Cloud Backup Targets (Pro)

TapTidy Pro users can configure automated recurring backups and connect external WebDAV cloud storage targets to automatically archive snapshot archives outside of TapTidy servers.

Manual Data Export

Export your full workspace anytime in standard formats under Settings → Data & backup → Export (JSON, CSV, Markdown, Todo.txt, Org-mode, and Taskwarrior formats).
