Clarity Triage & Scratch Notes Both

Clarity Triage (presented in the app as Scratch Notes) helps you process rough notes, ambiguous ideas, and quick brain-dumps into actionable tasks.

Clarity Score Bands

TapTidy evaluates unstructured captures against clarity benchmarks:

Low Clarity (< 0.3)

Items too vague or brief to execute directly (e.g. "call", "later", or single-word fragments).

Needs Work (0.3 – 0.5)

Has basic action intent but lacks a target date, project assignment, or key details.

Borderline (> 0.5)

Mostly clear tasks surfaced for a quick confirmation before remaining in your workspace.

Triage Actions

Process your scratch queue rapidly with dedicated actions:

Make it real: Opens the task editor to add scheduling, project context, priority, or subtasks.
Keep as is: Confirms the note is sufficient and clears it from the triage queue.
Archive: Moves the note to your archive with a 5-second undo toast window.
Delete: Permanently deletes the note after a confirmation prompt.

Navigation & Access

Web: Open the Command Palette (Ctrl+K) and type Scratch Notes, or navigate directly to /app/clarity.
Android: Open the Review screen and select the Scratch Notes tab, or use the in-app command search.
