TapTidy includes specialized shopping-list support on Web and Android designed for fast capture and in-store checking.

Creating a Shopping List

Create a new project and select the Shopping list type. Shopping projects appear in your Shop Hub (accessible via the cart icon in main navigation).

Adding Items & Quantity Parsing

Add items quickly using natural language. The parser automatically extracts quantities and units:

• 3x olive oil #pantry → Extracts quantity 3 and assigns to project
• 2 lb apples @produce → Extracts weight units and adds tag
• oat milk @dairy → Adds item with contextual category tag

In-Store Shopping Mode

Opening a shopping list enables focused shopping mode: a clean single-column interface with large tap targets. A single tap checks off an item and marks it complete.

Shopping List Widgets (Android)

Add the Shopping List Glance widget to your Android home screen. The widget displays active items for your selected store and lets you check items off directly without opening the full application.

Offline Reliability

Shopping lists work completely offline. You can check off items and add new purchases in low-connectivity stores; TapTidy queues mutations locally and syncs them automatically upon reconnection.
